
The Design Showcase will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the DCC Great Hall. Students from multiple engineering disciplines (Computer & Systems, Electrical, Industrial & Management, Materials and Mechanical Engineering) solve real-world design challenges for industry, entrepreneurs and academic/medical partners. Ryan Patry '00 & '08, Lockheed Martin Fellow for Manufacturing Engineering
Presentation Title: "Manufacturing Engineering and Technical Leadership in Industry" Presentation will start at 4:00 p.m. in DCC 318
Ryan Patry is currently a Lockheed Martin Fellow for Manufacturing Engineering. In this role, he is a recognized manufacturing expert across all of Lockheed Martin. He began his career in 2001 as an NC Programmer, focusing on titanium & magnesium machined parts. After 15 years of assorted roles within Manufacturing Engineering, he served in program management roles leading interdisciplinary teams through the design, producibility, manufacture, and aftermarket support phases for key programs. Other leadership assignments focused on implementation of new manufacturing technologies at Sikorsky.
Ryan received his undergraduate degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, holds MBA and MS degrees from Quinnipiac University, and a MS in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
