Faculty and Staff: Can your research benefit from a senior Capstone Design team to design test equipment, enhance a process, or evaluate an idea that your grad students are too busy to address?
Students and Alumni: Are you a member of a team or club that has a design challenge you’re not quite sure how to handle? Do you have an idea for an innovative product that needs a multidisciplinary group of talented RPI students to transition into a prototype?
Potential Sponsors: Do you have a concept or technical challenge that you need assistance with? Consider engaging a multidisciplinary Capstone student design team!
If so, please complete and submit the form in the link below with key information about your proposed project. Submission due date is October 30th for the Spring semesters and July 15th for the Fall semesters. This will allow sufficient time for us to process and review!

All project submittals will be evaluated by the Design Lab team. Project selection is based on:
- Meaningful design content
- Resource / fabrication requirements
- Multidisciplinary design content
- Availability of a faculty or external “sponsor” to mentor the team
