The Design Lab serves senior engineering students from the following disciplines:

- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial and Systems Engineering
- Materials Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Undergraduates from the Lally School of Management can also participate on multidisciplinary project teams where business and management skills can be applied.
