Industry leaders such as General Electric, Boeing, Corning and Raytheon have reaped the benefits of sponsoring capstone projects at the Design Laboratory. Viable solutions to their important technical challenges have been identified by the student project teams. The teams work with a Design Lab project engineer, a faculty member skilled in the technology, and mentors from the sponsoring organization to provide innovative solutions.
